At the foot of Mt. Vesuvius in Rome, lies an ancient Roman city known as Pompeii. The city was put to ruins by a volcanic eruption in A.D. 79. You can walk the 2000 year old streets and see the artifacts in the museum in Naples.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a world renowned tourist attraction in the city of Pisa. It became famous because of it's flaw. Sinking and leaning. You can see it in Piazza del Duomo and climb the steps to the top to see the amazing views!
Lake Como
Famous for it's amazing views, Lake Como is located in Lombardy,and is the #5 tourist attraction in Italy. The lake is surrounded by mountains and small towns. You may also see some old palaces and rich villas because the wealthy use to "haunt' here!
