The Climate Type in Italy is Mediterranean. All climates are temperate, but are different every region.
Winters: Cold+Rainy in the north, cool in Rome, and mild in south
Summers: Very hot in south (up to 104 degrees farenheit or 40 degrees celsius) where argricultural areas are subject to drought and the rest of Italy has moderate summers.
